PROJECT TIMELINE

Most of location shooting is complete with a few interviews left to film, and we currently are finishing transcribing, translating and organizing over 200 hours of footage and some 50 interviews as we prepare for editing. Our goal is to get to final cut by fall 2023 and to apply to major film festivals (Sundance, Full Frame, Tribeca, IDFA) for our world premiere in 2024.

FUNDRAISING

We have have been awarded grants from the NEH, Jewish Story Partners, the Claims Conference, Zygmunt Rolat’s Remembrance and Future Foundation and many private donors. At present, we are pursuing other grants and looking for funders who can help us meet our budgetary needs. Fox is a 2022 Jewish Film Institute resident, sponsored by the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, won Pitch Royale at the Australian International Screen Forum and was a finalist at the Paley Doc Pitch Fest. Our fiscal sponsor is the Center for Independent Documentary in Boston. All donations are tax deductible.
